What if we gave nature a little more room?

Britain is full of spaces with the potential to help wildlife: gardens, balconies, allotments, schools, farms, field margins, business grounds, roofs, orchards and meadows. Great British Pollinator Highway brings the people caring for those spaces together.

Our idea is simple: your space matters. A tiny space can provide food or shelter. Larger spaces can provide more, but that does not make a smaller plot insignificant. Members register the land they manage and submit species they find, and the map shows where members are recording and what they have submitted. A pin on the map shows a member's submission, not proof of habitat connection, corridor health, a restoration outcome, or a comparison between sites.

Pollinators are where our story begins, but not where our curiosity ends. Bees, butterflies, moths, hoverflies, beetles and other insects all play a part, and members can record the wider biodiversity they discover too.
